I'm trying to apply the same tactics of real football, but they don't work in FIFA 20.

For example, a lot of people play with the "park the bus" (the old school "catenaccio" in Italian) and "long ball" strategies, one of the strategies to avoid the opponent attack in real life is to play with a very backward defense and "long team" ("squadra lunga" in Italian).

In FIFA 20 it is possible to set only the vertical wideness and the depth but not the horizontal wilderness.

If I set the 1 and 1 for the vertical wideness and the depth the team stay always too high.

Then it is impossible to avoid the opponents' attacks because there will be always too much space between the goalkeeper and the defenders.

FIFA 20 is only an arcade game far away from real football.
