Passing Directions

There are serious passing direction problems in all game modes. I want to pass to a teammate who is in front of me but player gives the ball to whom i dont want to pass. Do you guys experience this?

@Pelimistanblue I had the issue, but determined it was a hardware issue. Swapped the controller and no more issues.
