PS4 fifa 20 opponent has left the match

Hi EA,

I'm having a major issue with FIFA, and I hope you can fix this ASAP. My cousin and I have played FIFA since the 08 days, and have never had a connection issue until 2020. When attempting to connect for an Online Friendly, the screen shows a gray background and says that the "Opponent has left the match". We have both changed our Privacy Settings and Network Settings. Aside from Online Friendlies, we're able to play all other modes.

Hi all. This bug frustrated me for weeks! Then a friend told me the workaround:

Keep sending the online friendly invite to your friend. It works the 4th - 5th time!! If it doesn't, ask your friend to start sending the request and try 4-5times.

I know this sounds like a stupid solution...but it has worked for me! Hope EA Sports fixes the issue permanently soon!

EA doesn't really care about online friendlies because they don't get money out of it. If there was an issue in Fifa Ultimate Team, they fix it sooner than the questions arise this is how EA helps the community

@Alexhawj7 Hi, I had this problem also. The problem is that you're playing with a friend and you have internet from the same company. But there are two options how to solve it. One player must change to another supplier the internet or the second option, one player must have a public IP address . And believe me, it goes :-)
