Fifa20 can connect to servers while on 2,4g network, unable to connect on 5g

Hi,

I have a high spec laptop and old desktop pc. On my laptop, I am unable to connect to ea servers if im connected to my 5g wifi network. I can connect to servers while on 2,4g network but its extremely lagy (playing seasons). On my desktop using wired connection to the same router everything is fine.

Obviously the problem must be in the router or laptops network adapter (intel ac9260). All was tested in one room within 2 meters from the router, therefore WIFI range should not be the issue. Also my laptop is the only device using 5g. 2,4g is used by multiple smarthome devices so I would assume 5g should be better.

I can achieve same speed test results on laptop and wired desktop (300mbit).

Can anyone suggest which settings should I look at so that I would be able to play on my laptop? Obviously I want to be able to play at different places in my home, not only at the desktop in the office.

Thanks

Hoang
