So i had the freezing issue. When i open fifa20 game freezes when connecting to ea servers and i was unable to connect. I ve had same issue when i downloaded futcompanion app. Same solution worked for me. 
1- upload ps4 to latest update (check on settings)

2- disable and re enable 2 way authenication on ea website

3- open game with using another user on ur ps4

4- go to profiles on fifa20 then change to your user and activate your profile

after doing these steps both 2 way authenication and new user agreement screen showed up and now i m connecting to ea servers. 
The reason of the problem is new user agreement screen it doesnt show up when you open the game. I dont know if it still works without reenabling 2 way authenication.
