FIFA 20 Error Retrieving Data from Server

Hi I've been playing FIFA 20 on PC and every time I play a game on a career, as the game finishes and I advance to the menu, it says "retreiving data from servers". My computer then freezes and I cannot do anything. Any ideas how to help as the game is rendered useless
