Xbox One Controller not working for FIFA 20

Hi there,

I am having an issue where my Xbox Controller (wireless and wired) is not recognised in game by FIFA 20. At the start screen when I press the A or Start button nothing is registered and I have to use my keyboard to get into the game which then means I cannot use the controller.

Drivers have been uninstalled/reinstalled several times and nothing is picked up in game (the remote is connected and I can use Xbox Game Bar on Windows 10)

What is the problem and how do I fix it ASAP? I would love to play the game by now

@MasterJAKE33 Same problem I don't know what to do about it i've tried everything even third-party apps, nothing seems to work.

@JEads88 I have found that over all this months I have had to use an external program to make it work which is repetitive and has to be opened every time I want to play but at least it works! I really do wish EA and Origin put more work into the technical issues with the game but, oh well

Same issue for months now. I havent been able to play one game with my controller. I even went out and bought a 2nd controller after I un-installed, re-installed game twice.. deleted all profiles from my computer.. NOTHING IS WORKING.
