Connection crime

Hi.

I am writing from northern Europe.

Since November, I've been experiencing a lot of "input lag" and now also a bit of "speed up" lag.

Been playing FUT for years, and never had any problems with connectivity.

However the game has now become unplayable. At first it was only in Rivals and Weekend League, then it started in squad battles and friendlies, and now even the FUT menu is lagging.

I've done all of the troubleshooting steps: Wired (has never been a must previously), DNS, opening ports, unplugged moden and PS4, cleared licenses, restored PS4, re-installed, ETC.

Additionally, I've spent a lot of money. I've done the following:

Bought new PS4, Bought two new reuters, bought a gaming monitor, changed ISP twice (The ISP's have been more than helpful, they have sent tech's by my house three times to check my wiring. They are also the ones who did my port forwarding.), I've up a 4G router for all of my other devices (TV's, PC's, mobiles etc.), so the Ps4 is the only device connected and using my broadband.

I've written to chat support agents several times, and all they do is blame my ISP, and send me that ridiculous link to the trouble shooting page. No good.

So the other day, the chief technician of my ISP came and bought a car from me (Car salesman), and i asked if he could look in to it. And he did.
When he came to pick up the car, he said that he has been asking around, running some tests and looking at the UOTrace.

He said that the people with the same connection settings as me, in my area, playing Fifa 20 on ps4 are connecting to servers in Europe (Germany, sweden, Ireland?), but somehow i'm connecting to Los Angeles. Los Angeles is 4.800 miles away. Central Germany is 900 miles away.

Could someone please explain that to me?
