FIFA 20 Matches not connecting - hung on opponent squad screen

So since the update yesterday (January 14th) for FIFA 20 on PC, I can't actually play any matches in FIFA 20, in Squad Battles, Friendlies or Rivals. Yet it worked fine the morning BEFORE the update, so it's not a user connection issue on my part if it didn't exist prior to the update.

Does anyone else have this issue? What can be done to fix it? As I get nothing for skipping the SB matches to find one FIFA will let me play, when there was no issue playing before the recent update

Hi @EA_Darko I tried everything on the list (more than once, in fact) and it's the same result - offline matches will not connect (Squad Battles matches just hang on the opponent's squad screen, Friendlies don't give the "Press Start to continue" option during the training drill). I even tried restarting my computer (in case it was something to do with that current session), but same thing.

As mentioned, I didn't have an issue prior to EA's update on Tuesday, and now the game is unplayable

Hey @reallyawesomes let's start by going through the Connection troubleshooting steps which you can find here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/

It'll take you a couple of minutes to do them all but please do take the time and do them all.

Once done try it again to see if you see the same error.
