My problem is it's over the top for average players. If they were going to lower the sbc player quility they should've improved packs(Not made them worse) or lower Req for each team. Why would someone pay 200k for an 83 rated unusable player for comp play.

I just completed the League 1 SBC and I think the best card I packed was 84 Depay.....the packs were incredibly sad. I had much better luck with the Bundesliga SBC though.

Maybe this year we are going to have 5 or 6 players released for each league rather than the 3 we had last year, so they’ve started them out low rated for that reason. Wishful thinking I know...

Did you even read that article? Those numbers are from the previous quarter, not the one we are inside now, so it hardly covers FIFA 20. And there is more, you should read it first.

Doesn’t make sense. Nobody in their right mind would buy Fifa points solely to pull the top 1% of players. Even packing a 300k icon is like gold dust let alone 90 Gullit etc. You’d be extremely lucky to even get a player that goes for 100k+
They have a huge increase in revenue from FUT this year...

Because they price fixed leagues for months which is nonsensical unless you're a profiteer.
The only people moaning for their return were traders. They've brought them back to appease the moaners but made the cards have less mass appeal to recuce the price fixing.

There was nothing of price fixed. It was just supply and demand market rise. And those players who were super expensive (for example Utrecht or Tolosa silver players) where that high just because EA set in the requirements formations that didn’t fit the players the team had.
Also the fact that those SBC are repeatable made them super worth it in certain cases (completed myself CSL SBC multiple time last year, as it was 50/60k at some point, you had back good packs and an 86 rated player that last year in the market was around 20/25k). Seeing how all the SBCs are managed this year(no bergains at all, look at that 83 rated req for 2 UCL players that last year required only gold rates) its easy to guess EA don’t want to have people farming packs for next to nothing

Its kinda sad when a 81 rated player is worth more than a 88 rated player. But regarding lg sbc's even tho the picks are bad i rather have bad picks then no picks at all, we also have to remember that they will probably be adding more choice picks later on.

Tbf, those aren't contradictory positions. I'm not one who does these league SBCs but can clearly see they have been totally gutted compared to previous years. If I was someone who bothered with em, I wouldn't be happy at that.
