When did everyone become pro level defenders?
Never a defender out of place
Every run is tracked
Every tackle is perfect
My players constantly getting thrown on the floor
Blocking shots and intercepting passes like bots
It's almost impossible to break down and this is in div 5! Every game feels lile squad battles on ultimate.
Maddest thing is, after 90 minutes of getting suffocated and thrown off the ball, the stats say my opponent has made 2 tackles!? WHAT?!
So how is he winning the ball from me over and over again so easily without tackling?
I average 12/15 tackles per game!
What am I doing so wrong?

As a counter to this, use LT+RT (L2+R2) when you have the ball and keep your back to the defender. Turn them and dribble or pass. Use LB (L1) to send players on runs.

I use speed jocky and yes it helps but not like this, i might record my next game and upload it so you guys can see.
I am honestly finding it hard to believe that this many people at this level can manoeuvre with such accuracy and have such sharp reactions.

I am experiencing the exact same thing since the patch, no idea how they track my every move then steal the ball whilst standing behind my player and I’m facing away holding shield

Hmm I have noticed that now if you call a man short on a corner, he is immediately tailed by a defender and you don’t get the space to turn on.
Pre patch it was a nice way to work a corner to a shooting angle but not you’re closed right out

yeah i only found out this WL too. Really helped in avoiding giving away penaltys 
and had so many times where the referee would give a foul against me where i thought it was just a normal good tackle; that happens wayyy less too if you do the jockey thing
