Winning and Losing Streaks Have No Place in this Game
This has no place in the game. You should play, at random, whomever is in your division somewhat close to your skill level. No if, ands, or buts about it, you should never be playing the worst or best of a division simply because of a streak.
It ruins the game and is probably why so many of us are pissed off all the time.

I always see people talking about Divisions 7, 6 and 5 being where all the rubbish is happening with relegated players taking advantage, but believe me, it doesn't stop there and gets even worse in divisions 8 and 9.
My brother has an account, and he's only 8 years old. He can play FIFA fine, but only the basics. He floats between divisions 7 and 8 usually. This year he's in division 9. He asked me if I could play some games for him to get him back up to 7, so obviously I said I would. I was expecting to steamroller everyone 5 or 6-0 easily without much effort.
Nope.
There's some really good sharks all the way down there too. What is the point? It ruins the game completely for young players, players that perhaps have some difficulty (people with disability etc) or just complete noobs. People aren't getting a proper experience anymore playing FUT.

Well lost my first 6 WL games today, not a clue what is going on had to give it a rest for now, never lost that many at the start of a WL, usually get a win or 2 in my first 5 games, not like I'm losing to good players either some of the goals have been nothing short of hilarious.
Probably start winning tomorrow just wasn't my turn today i suppose.

20 game win streak
10 game lose streak
10 game win streak
15 game lose streak
(Chuck a minor amount of draws in there)
Absolutely boring. Horrendous.

Absolutely bang on mate. I'm an average player and in recent years I was a div 5 to 7 player. This year I'm in div 9 and playing players who are obviously in around 3,4 or 5 divisions, but have relegated themselves or it's a different account. As you say it ruins it completely. These people are obviously not div 9 players, by their game play, skill moves and finishing etc. I don't much enjoy playing now.

As you say, lose a few games on the trot and you face very average players for two games or so. Then it's back to playing good players again. This happens because of fifa points. Those that buy them get matched against inferior teams and inferior players ( level ) Its the same BS each year. You can never know who you're playing against and it should be playing in a proper division like it was before division rivals. Now people relegate themselves to make it easier for the rewards and along with fifa points, the whole ultimate team experience has been buggered up for casual players.
To go even further, if people relegate themselves from Div. 2 to Div. 4, then you aren't even playing the best from your division if you went on a winning streak, you're playing a great player from two divisions above you.
Exactly !! I've noticed that most of the time you're playing a player who is better than you. It's obvious that you are playing someone who is quite a few levels up from yourself. I would say since fifa 20 came out I've played about 30% of games against top players. Then 40% against good players and 20% against average players. The rubbish players are about 10%. So you are always matched not against your level and against someone much better than you. That's pretty obvious why !!

What you think it should do is what it does tho?
It searches in a radius of 200 skillrating and finds you an opponent. You being on some sort of streak doesn't matter whatsoever.
Yesterday I lost 2 games in a row, 3rd game it gives me west Ham united Jamboo who is a pro. Beat him and got +24 skillrating so he was miles above me.
Today I won 3 games in a row, then won a 4th and it gave me +8 for the win so the guy must have been like 150 points below me.
