so ever since the half way point of fifa 19 being released I suddenly out of no where started getting errors with my fut, i'd press to go on the mode & it would load up downloading the latest fut squad update screen, but it would stay on 0% as since i'd already had the latest squads update, so all I did was back out & back in with no problems, eventually tho I wasn't allowed to enter fut & still to this day have the same problem as the error carried over to fifa 20, every time I enter fut mode before it brings up the fut menu, I get an error which shown in the attached file picture is "An error ocurred downloading the Fut Squad Update. Please try again" I have rarely managed to temporarily fix the issue, with the following steps Although not found a permanent fix

Step 1. Clear All Saved Data(includes profile & reserved space data) for fifa making sure you delete it(cloud save) everywhere when it gives you 2 options to either delete from console or delete everywhere, choose the 2 option(I'm On Xbox One BTW)

Step 2. Clear Mac Address Via Network Advanced Settings, it will prompt you to restart console

Step 3 Once console has restarted go to settings, find disc & blu-ray option, select blu-ray, hover over persistent storage & then select it, select clear persistent storage, do that 5 to 10 times, finally turn console off by pressing the glowing xbox logo on the console for upto 5 seconds until it turns off the xbox, next unplug the power source from the xbox, then wait upto 30 seconds to 2 minutes until you plug power source back into xbox one, once plugged back in wait for the power source light to go from white to orange, once it's orange you can then turn xbox back on.

Step 4. load up fifa(whatever title you own) make sure you have deleted all save data, or you'll have to start over this process again, once fifa has loaded you should in my case on fifa 19 get a tutorial match load up mine being champions league juve vs psg, you can either choose to play it or quit the match, after that it will load up the menu as if you just bought the game, it will make you choose your personal settings etc, but the main thing you need to look out for when doing this is, you'll have temporarily fixed the issue if you get the welcome back percs from playing previous fifa's such as extra catalogue coins, boosts for pro clubs & career mode & welcome back packs for fifa, seeing this welcome back percs is essential to you fixing the issue or else this toubleshooting method doesn't work, tho I think the issue has a higher success rate if you unistall the game.

Step 5. go to download updates option in the options menu, it should allow you to download the latest updates, it's not essential but you can delete all your profile data in the fifa settings if you want to delete fut squad update or online squads before you try this troubleshooting method, after downloading the lastest update you can then proceed to any gamemode as it will download latest squads and have live form turned on if you are accessing kick or trying to play seasons mode, when you enter fut it will have you downloading the latest fut squad update & you can proceed to play fut with no problem the only issue is I have figured out how to make my xbox manually make new save data/sync data to the cloud, because if you close fifa and load it up you have the chance of getting the error again because it hasn't saved in the cloud you downloading all the latest updates, so you could load it up & in profile delete settings in fifa menu it won't have the files for the squads updates you did, I can't figure out why tho, also if by closing fifa then loading it back up and it stills works perfectly fine, it wil stops working as soon as you turn off your xbox as the save data when you boot up fifa for some reason hasn't saved a new copy from you downloading squads, don't know why xbox doesn't have an option to manually save recent online data to the cloud instead of the xbox atmo which just saves the cloud without an notification or way for us to see what data & progress in the games it saved if it saved it, This was longer than I intended but I hope I can share some new insight into the problem and help ea fix the issue as i'm also doing this to ask for help on how to get a permanent fix, plz help me
