First time playing since patch...what have they done?

I seem to get about 10-15 mins good gameplay and then the game becomes so choppy and laggy. My players keep passing/clearing etc with no input. Making stupid auto lunges etc.

It feels like a bad version of fifa 19 without croqueta. Just me?
