Since prices are low, there is no way that with the cards you get from packs you can make enough coins to buy the player you want. So I think they focus on people buying packs to get that player they want instead of coins.
I mean, I got Neymar in one of the first packs. If I didn´t get him, there is no way that, without trading, I could get his card now. I would need to pack too many good players ( rare ) to get the coins to buy him. So the only way to get those big names is not with coins but with fp.

Packed Chiellini & UCL Kroos last 24hrs from SBC's, will be lucky to get 60k for both of them. Both 89 & 88 rated.

As a guy who was pretty hooked on fp last year, I have no desire this year to spend beyond the $100 I spent in early access.

It's laughable, my tradeable pack luck this year is absolutely appalling yet I've managed to obtain some decent untradeables.
