Another problem with rivals is the higher you climb the more points you will need for the ranks. Not only are the games tougher, but you need to play even more because the average player in high divisions is playing alot.

Completing the Mbabu challenge in division 2 would take such a long time. The time frame is limited aswell. I dont mind people doing it and I will probably do it myself again.

It's there to create a challenge for these top players but instead theyre losing on purpose to complete them quicker. There's nothing fair about this.
Top players are in a higher division, but they're too scared to try to complete these in their division and it ends up repeating the same cycle. Players from a lower division will drop to find easier opponents and so forth.
It’s not about being to scared. It’s more that it just takes a long time in higher divisions when you can drop 2 divisions and do it in a few games.
The fact is the game isn’t that fun. We’re already at a stage where people are trying to get the maximum return for fewest games played. Last year for the first few months I was playing 30 wl games games, getting elite 1 in sb’s and rank 1 divisions every week. This year I’m already stopping at g1 in wl, getting rank 3 divisions and have given up on sb’s.
Who’s gonna waste their time playing twice as many rivals matches as they need to be sauce their having to gimp their team for objectives?

There needs to be incentives to get people to stay in their divisions. Maybe you shouldn’t need as many wins or something, but as it is now there’s absolutely no reason to stay in your division and many reasons to drop to a lower one.BeastlyHusla wrote: »BeastlyHusla wrote: »InformCollector wrote: »Why get annoyed? But you're making it harder for people at their best division and you're at lower/easier division. So practically you're scared of challenging at your own level. You end up being greedy. There needs to be a line with this rival dropping.
Say NO to scumbaggery.
Just to be clear I’m in div 2 at the moment so I’m not talking about myself dropping

For being relegated you need to give something as a punishment , 10k loss coins or suspended 5 first team players for 5 games.
This would combat cheats straight away , people want coin and to use there players but if cant is it worth getting relegated and losing coin , for some yes maybe for others definitely not.

It's annoying, I like to think I'm playing people on my skill level in rivals. And if my rating increases I know I'm doing something right, if I go up a division I base it on self improvement. But... this is no longer an accurate judgement because many people in my division are much higher skill level and pros who either are there to do objectives or there to troll and bully the weak.
Not fair at all.

Sucks but doesn't make me lose any sleep. The annoying ones are the ones who quit at kick off. At least score an own goal first. I hope people who do that step on a plug. Had two muppets do that 2 games running last night.

Load of people giving reasons why its fair enough for them to drop down and hammer people not as good as them. Saying its not fair that it takes so long. Yet ignoring the fact that they're just making it longer for the people that aren't arseholes and absolutely wrecking the entire rivals system. What about the people that are genuinely div 9 and stuff. Don't know why they dont put it in friendlies with win requirements so people couldn't help each other...
@Jobiwan
The point is, it's almost impossible with some of the objectives to maintain rank 1 rewards, get enough points, complete the objectives, and have fun.
The game becomes a chore if you're a good player.
I don't want the game to be a chore.
As I said, if there's a button to get yourself 1 free icon or a button to get me 5 free icons, which do you press?
You can justify it whatever way you want. How are other people at their own rank just able to get it done? You guys make out like its impossible if you're good. You just don't want to have to put in the effort. You want fun which means cheating the system hammering noobs and then justifying why you're right. Pure selfish and just the type of thing I've come to expect from this community. Full of ****...
Yeah I'm sure the other Div 1 players are winning with their Spal and Lecce squads against god teams, scoring those 60 Serie A goals, in Div 1. You clearly haven't been that high up, you have no idea what it's like.
It's not possible to keep up with the type of objectives they're putting out while maintaining a high rank, and not feeling like the game is a chore.
As I said, 1 button gives me 5 icons, another button gives you 1 icon, which do you press? Get off your high horse, everyone is selfish in aspects, you are just on the bad end of this because you're clearly losing to people doing this.

The problem is
30 games in WL, at a sweat level that is unbeknownst to the common man.
Having to cap Rivals games for rank 1
Objectives
If I want to get my rewards/objectives/etc done, in Div 1 or 2, it is NOT fun, it is VERY time consuming, and I miss out on rewards, AND makes me not want to play the game.
This is a flaw on EA's end, and at the end of the day, if I have a choice of me not wanting to play the game, or my random opponent not wanting to play the game, I'd much rather my random opponent not want to play, the same way you would much rather pack an icon than have me pack an icon.

I get Why people do it, I actually don't blame them for doing it...
I blame EA for putting objectives into a sweaty mode like rivals. It forces people to do those objectives quickly since some of the stuff is behind a time wall.
However, EA made rivals based on the fact that they want us to play similar level players, the fact that the system they created makes a mockery of the mode pretty much sums up EA. Delivering great ideas, executed hurrendously

Whatever keep telling yourself its impossible and smashing noobs. Its not impossible you just keep saying about it not being a chore. Guess what its supposed to be a bloody chore and is a chore for all the people that do it properly. Then you have the people who don't want it to be a chore making it twice as bad for the people theyre hammering. Justify it whatever way you want you clearly don't give a **** about anyone else but yourself so have fun dabbing on noobs...

It is frustrating to play team after team that is clearly better than you but it’s a good feeling when you win. What I find surprising is how every team I’ve played doing the Politano objective plays so defensively when it’s goals they need.

The fact its a game and its not about how many games you win its about how many coins and packs you have used to build a team is whats wrong with this game mode.
The leaderboard works on profits and team value and theres nothing about win %.
