I’ll be honest mate I think expensive players are overrated. The fact Goméz is 100x better than van djik is just an example

What instructions do you guys have him on? And do you play in a 1 CDM or 2 CDM formation?
Use him as a lone CDM in a 41212 narrow on stay back/cut passing lanes/cover center.
