Yer I was just testing it
So you haven’t done much at all except allowed your connection to have a minimum speed of 5 up/down among other users of connection. You must of had a real busy household. Netflix etc is to blame for that
I restricted my ps4 only what you talking about ?

Change the whole system of QOS or just address linked to the console?

It’s about having a stable consistent low up/down which you can mimic in QoS with a decent router

Going to try now qos Xbox on low priority.
Do not low priority just limit bandwidth to 1 mbps i got mine at 0.75 because i get most consistant game play when lower than 1 but u have to be hard wired otherwise u might get speed up lag , everybody on 4g connection will have speed up lag as well regardless of speed

from my (limited) knowledge, this is only possible on some routers, and not on many of the UKs most popular ones, without modifying your entire setup to incldue a seperate bridge / additional router?
Great that this is what we need to do in order to have a playable game

I throttle to 1Mb download, upload. I'm still hard wired to my router, my console is prioritized for gaming. This gives me the most consistent experience. I'm pretty sure most pro players are using similar settings, they where the most vocal when that patch dropped a few months ago that rewarded a good connection.
The netcode puts you at a huge disadvantage with optimal settings, it shouldn't be like that, but EA are only interested in the lowest common denominator. The majority of casuals don't have a clue about setting up their connection correctly, EA cater to them. It's the reason I'll never take Fifa eSports seriously, when every other big competitive game I've played have restrictions on poor quality connections.

First thing is to switch to WiFi. If it’s a console that will cut your speed by 400%. If it’s still too good try streaming Netflix or something while you play.

This 100%. But guys that claim to work for google will hijack this thread and tell you that you’re wrong. But bottom line is, my experience tells me the worse my connection, the better the gameplay. It was also proved by the gameplay responsiveness patch in fifa 19 where it was unplayable on a bad connection and perfect on a good connection. Then was quickly reverted.

The streaming thing doesn't work as well as it can affect your ping which can make you experience serious delay. You need a low download and upload speed only for this to work best like the OP has done. There are many guides on google for setting this up all you are doing is limiting the console download/upload speeds in my case the ps4 and it worked a treat.

WiFi is worse. I've literally quit 17 matches in a row because it's god awful game play. Can't do a **** thing just stuck in mud. Happens every weekend.
Opponent is always flying all over the pitch and intercepting everything. My players do nothing. Every command takes forever to register, and tackling does absolutely nothing.
I'll get online Monday and the connection will be tolerable - I'll then go the entire **** week undefeated... this happens EVERY week in this broken game.
Lose 20 in a row due to **** gameplay then win 20 in a row when it's better. It's not fun destroying lesser skilled players over and over. It's also not fair to them that I'm in their division because EA can't sort out one sided lag.
