Can't get online Fifa 20 on a Switch

My son has bought Fifa 20 for his switch. He has a switch online account and the WiFi signal when he tries to go in to ultimate team he keeps getting this message: unable to login. This account can't get online. There are a few reasons why that might be. See easports.com unable to connect for possible reasons...

I followed the link but can't find anything useful there.

Help please! Do I need to somehow login to Ea servers?

@russellcartw I am having the same problem with my son, how did you change his age on the switch account? I have set up the EA Account with my details but his switch has been set up in his own age the whole time. Any help would be greatly appreciated xxx
