Can’t play international tournaments FIFA20

Hi. I’m on national team. I’ve played friendlies and World Cup quals. I’ve been called up for the SA Cup. I can’t play the games. When I proceed to play, the calendar breezes past the month. Can you help me understand the problem? Spent hours on this player. Career Mode, Create Player, FIFA20. Thanks all.

@AFPuerta My attempt to give EA the benefit of the doubt during a pandemic and desire to fill my free time with sports only for the experience to be ruined by in inexcusable glitch. Its the equivalent to playing a full season of Madden only for the Superbowl to glitch out and not let you play it.
