Doesnt fit the meta by any means. Low agility/balance does make a card useless this year. Sadly it is like that.

Fingers crossed on those- Reece James would be sick as Azpi is solid but slow AF.
Mount's card was good enough for the first couple of weeks as well, but not since then,CHO's card just not worth it at all.
I'm desperately hoping for a Kovacic card- his and Tomori's NIF have been the biggest surprises for me and haven't held me back at all, Kovacic especially who I've been backing massively (to much derision) in real life and happy to see him playing so well.
Chelsea/Ex chelsea got loads of special cards last year Futmas Kova/FUT Bday Willian/Carniball rudiger/RTTF Alonso etc.
Would love a flashback Fabregas/Costa/Azpi
What was that Promo that was orange cards? Only ones i remember were Ziyech and Skrinar got them-maybe Lala as well, so plenty of opportunity i think.

I think the likes of Hudson Odoi and James are a lock. Possibly even one of Tomori or Mount.
Guaranteed to get a UCL live card (hopefully Willian or Kovacic) and we'll probably get a FUTMAS one as well.

Yea probably the only person that's happy he got in haha- Willian POTM would the icing on the cake, but not holding out much hope for that.
Team is below- OTW Hazard is an investment, planning to sell around Xmas and get Base Zola & Base Essien instead.

Yea I spent money and got lucky too- Packed Cristiano Ronaldo from the RTTF Alonso SBC and that took my team to the next level.
Zlatan was insane (and his FB), but game had died by the time I got him- think I used him for 2-3 WL's at most but he dominated.
Gone RTG this year and doing all of the advanced SBC's asap sorted me out big time- have found it easier to make money this year as the Chelsea theme means I haven't had an SBC to sink coins into yet.
What team you running this year/building towards? Think I may remember seeing your username celebrating the Bastian Card? NGL, was very tempted by that card but absolutely impossible for me to link.
U know the OP heading from Zlatan might be to blame for why EA have nerfed heading so hard this year
Yeah I follow/watch the Prem the most, but I'm also a huge MLS nerd (I do every MLS SBC and have bought 600+ MLS cards to prep for the League SBC) so I usually build one team of each. Recently combined the best of both my teams tho to use more competitively.
Oh I'm a Japanese football fan too so that's why Nakata is in there.

I lived in Osaka for a couple of years and used to go to a bunch of Cerezo Osaka games when Forlan was there- incredible atmosphere at the games, so different to the UK. Also, so many goals from goalkeeping errors haha!
Love Nakata as well, we used to get a serie a highlights show in the UK called 'Football Italia' and he used to do naughty things for Parma/Roma.
Wish they would do an Icon Totti/Batistuta/Recoba/Davids... I could go on
That's a great team as well, nice to see non-meta teams being fun for people to use. St Juste looks a great card.
Tidy bit of coins saved there- You gonna do the MVP Vela if it's released, or the WF a no-no for you?
Yep! I'm a United fan. I got interested in football later than most kids (didn't play any organized sports until i decided to try out footy in 7th grade), but I've stuck with United since that time.
oh no way! That's awesome. I've been to a J-league game too and I agree that the atmosphere was really great. Quality of football (especially the defenders and GK!!) wasn't that high, but I was impressed by how intense the experience was.
St. Juste is really good. Paired with Lucas Hernandez completely counters pacey strikers.
I've been super lucky this year with pack luck (have never spent on FP) so I've gotten some good players much earlier than anticipated. heck yeah, I'll do Vela MVP SBC (I've done the POTM). WF is a big down side, but he'll be on my MLS side for sure and at least the bench here.

Yea Tomori is a must for me tbh- so many people just abuse pace down the wings with Coman/dembele etc and his pace is crucial in getting back across. He is a bit weak (even with Sentinel) but he was the best card out of zouma/rudgier/christensen imo.
Just packed untradeable alderiweled though and have been trying him and Nathan Ake out. Ake is an incredible card and I love having a left footed LCB to pass out to the Fullback.
Got OTW Pulisic at 17k, but he's on the bench (or 6 chem for Willian) whilst I've still got Eden Hazard's card. Been really great to see him start to flourish IRL, crazy how much expectation has been put on his shoulders.
Pulisic still looks a bit lightweight and slightly short of match fitness, but he has been getting better every game and that's all you can ask.
I'll hold my hands up and say I thought he was a marketing signing, but I've been very impressed by both his ability and things he says.
I'm a bit stuck with what to do tbh- Only comparable Chelsea card to Hazard is Base Zola and I did want to try Drogba & Essien, but Tammy has been great for me, so gonna stick with him.
You use Scream Ampadu last year per chance? But yeah, pace on CBs seems to be a must. And with the death of heading, you can worry more about pace than height or physicality.
Ake seems to be a really underrated CB. I have a buddy who has really enjoyed using him too. He's got a crazy amount of IG stats compared to CBs rated several points overall higher than him.
Yeah, I think Americans are so desperate to have a footballing hero to cling to so when Pulisic made the move to the Prem, the expecations and hopes skyrocketed. Looks like he's still bedding in but I've been thrilled (as an American fan) to see him start to make some significant impacts and win more starts. Hope he keeps it up.

There actually is a new competition between liga mx and mls. Atlanta won the cup this year to beat out mexico 😎 which is why a lot of mls fans like Atlanta as their 2nd favorites lol.
The competition is getting expanded next year.
Also we have a "champions league" here with leagues in central and North America- winner goes to the club world cup. Mls has yet to win in its modern configuration. This year I'm hoping we can take the cup. Toronto came close last year (or year before?).
Another 5 years and we will see how far the league goes. Talented young South American players are taking the league very seriously these days - they will be our future stars for sure.

Thanks for the info, I've never looked into the MLS much to be honest. I've tried following basketball/nfl at times, but the confusing way the leagues are split/organised is too much for me.
I am a massive fan of the show about fantasy football, 'the league' though!
Seems like a smart investment (South American players), makes sense why Pavon ended up at Galaxy rather than coming to Europe.
Think a lot of people in the UK will keep an eye on Beckham's team as well next year, which should help grow interest.

Missed Ampadu last year
Only my 2nd year playing FUT (long time FIFA local player), so last year I spent money on packs and had a kinda mega team with no real theme.
Ended up with this (loved the team though tbf)
I can see why American's are hyped about him- kinda similar to England in tennis -everyone was happy to forget the ANYONE BUT ENGLAND shirts when Sir Andy Murray won Wimbledon(He's Scottish) but was celebrated as a British champion .
I think it's safe to get excited about Pulisic though, he's keeping our Goldenboi Hudson-Odoi out the team on merit and I can't wait to see them both in the team together.

Yea it's true that he's not Meta, but 'useless' is unfair- as IMO it depends on how you play Fifa.
If you're going for the best WL finish and Rivals you can, then I can see what you're saying.
Personally I go for G3 at WL and am DIV 5-6 in rivals. On Fifa 19 was always Gold 2-1 (few gold 3's).
I could fairly easily better both those placements in 20 I think, if I sweated out the meta, but play 6-depth 6 width pressure on heavy touch and just enjoy the game.
