FIFA 20 Tournament Mode Is Always Crashing Any Solutions?????
I’m one of those rare fifa players who would rather play tournament mode over career mode and UT. i like to control all the teams and do a season either in the premier league, la liga, championship or bundesliga and do it as if it is real life and have a champions league run alongside it.
However, the game mode is currently unplayable because of a glitch which has recently appeared for me but it seems as though it’s been around for a while for some other people. every time i get to matchday 2 and get past the first game, the save loses its mind and if i change my squads, press advance after the second game or try to save it then it freezes and then crashes and returns me to the home page on my xbox. it seems as though this has been a problem over xbox and PS. i contacted the EA live chat this morning who instructed me to try some troubleshooting methods that they sent to me after the conversation ended. none of them worked so i got back in contact to be told my case would be passed on to another team. for me, this seems code for “we don’t care” as i’ve had many problems before and the person on the live chat has said this only for nothing to happen and i’m sure many others have. if it isn’t UT, it doesn’t seem like they care unfortunately. however, if it was FUT (their cash cow), or VOLTA (their multi million dollar investment which is a bigger flop than the journey), an update would have been issued within 24 hours. it’s as if they don’t care about us at all.
anyway, for me i first started experiencing this glitch after the recent update. i accidentally overwrite my championship save at 7 games in so i had to start again and currently i can’t get past matchday 2. i must’ve tried 5 times already. but no success. if anyone someone knows how to fix this, please let me know. especially with schools cancelled here in the UK till september, i will have nothing to do. need help urgently lol

Another topic, same issue....it's still unbelievable if they do not have any worker checking this.
This is about saving progress, in 2020!!!
I've showed and discussed this in more detail with intensive FIFA players but did not get any light on how to solve or at least minimize the issue.

@Zlatan1101 it’s so frustrating. can’t imagine what it’s been like for those who have been affected since the start of fifa as it’s been running smoothly up till the recent update for me. i contacted the live chat again who told me that they’d received multiple reports about this and their studio team will look into finding a fix. Guarantee it won’t get fixed 
i was a thread of people talking about their glitch for a while and interacted with an EA employee who then left them all in the dark and stopped replying. That’s EA for you lmao. now i will have to play career mode as i’m not playing UT and filling EA’s pockets just to get a good team. career mode was way too easy and unrealistic last time i played it so hopefully it’s changed.

I was a regular tournament mode player. I’d say a month after the game came out, i got this glitch. complained to the EA live chat about 5 times and i was told the information would be passed onto their studio team. Guess their studio team saw “FIFA 20 Tournament Mode Glitch” and threw it straight in the bin as it isn’t FUT. This glitch appears to affect people at different times. there was a temporary fix at one point which it seems as though EA removed lmao. it’s an absolute joke that we are 6 months into FIFA 20 and you can’t save your progress

@picklechops1 This bug has been there since the release of the game. I have tried various methods but it is still crashing.
I have contacted Ea like you months ago, nothing happened. I have contacted them via twitter, doubt they are going to answer. It is annoying since I am also only into tournament modes.

no point in trying folks. as you said, it is isn’t Ultimate Team then it don’t matter. I had this glitched too and it started after the new update. lost 19 game progress in La Liga controlling all teams. tried career mode but that’s more broken than anything. EA need to sort their s**t out. Here’s a few ideas :
1) Stop blowing most of your fifa budget on these really bad story mode games. VOLTA completely butchered FIFA Street and i don’t know anyone who actually plays that.
2) Then, spend that money on improving offline game modes and pro clubs. UT is already stacked.
3) as soon as there is a big glitch, take down the game and fix it instead of waiting to address it in a title update ffs
they say they don’t make immediate updates and hugely improve features for career and tournament mode because it doesn’t bring the money in. yet they blow most of their budget on 3 awful years of the journey, VOLTA (which hopefully ends this year) and a revamp of kick off which was not necessary at all and something which no one asked for.
2020 and we can’t save our progress. I contacted the live chat to see what was happening. You wanna know what the guys advice was?

So, let me get this straight, tournament mode (an offline game mode) is freezing and crashing at the same point for every person. it’s obviously a glitch but nooooo try your wifi.
EA employ clowns and the sooner PES takes over the better.

I have just come across this too. I tried getting into the live chat but the waiting time was estimated at 800 minutes and there was 99+ people in the queue. If they were all tournament players, we’d get the problem fixed but i guarantee it’s just 12 year old FUT players who have either A) Blown all their coins on packs and got no one so they want to claim that they have been hacked or B) Can’t connect time EA servers. i can’t be bothered to queue because it will take soooo long and i’ve already gathered what the message from them is. COVID-19 has meant kids worldwide are off school so ea live chat will be aids lol. I tried deleting fifa and waited 2 hours for it to reinstall. nothing worked. ffs so annoying URGH
