PS4 - child account - online play
I have PS+ on my account. I have linked it to my EA account.
I have set up a child account for my son. I have done it properly, with his correct date of birth. He is under 13. As it is a child account on the same console, he also has access to PS+ features.
I am able to play FIFA 20 online (it comes up with a message briefly about connecting to EA servers).
When my son tries to play online it fails, saying that he must link his account to an EA account. I have set up an EA child account (using the Origin manager), but seem unable to link it to his PS account. I suspect his is again because of age restrictions.
Is it possible for my son to play FIFA 20 online (without lying about his age)? If so how? If not, how do I get a refund for an online purchase, as I bought it for him, not me.
TIA

I have the same issue. I am the family manager and my account has PS+. I created a PSN and EA account for my son but when he tries to connect to EA Servers he gets the message - this account can't get online. There are a few reasons why this might be. See ea.com/unable-to-connect for possible reasons and some troubleshooting you can try. I temporarily disabled all restrictions in case there was a parental control setting I miss-assigned but it still does not work. Help would be appreciated.

Just purchased FIFA20 so that he can play online with his friedns during the lockdown. Unfortunately it won't let him and simply says unable to login. Not impressed as he now needs to play through my account which rather negates the whole system.
