It works when I reinstall origins, played the game and closed it. When I opened it again,same problem persists.

i was on track for my first elite finish, i have now had 5 games in a row disconnect from this. It is absolutely ridiculous, it does nothing to prevent hacking, it just punishes legitimate players for no reason and through no fault of the game. EA do something about it stop being useless

I tried everything. Focus assist was on. Turned off game mode. Turned off all notifications in Origin. Reinstalled Origin, reinstalled the game. Closed all background applications. Nothing helped. Finally had to reinstall Windows. That helped. Screw you Origin and Windows

Hi. Was having same problem on Windows 10.

Restarting of PC, deleting cache, etc didn't help.

Neither disabling notification, origin in-game, focus assistant, updating driver, etc... 

So I run cmd and type below commands:

chkdsk /f /r 

sfc /scannow

Just to see if there is problem with windows.

Then I uninstall Origin and go to my network and do Network Reset (not sure if this was the problem, but I just did)

After that PC restarts.

After PC was back on I download origin client again.

Install it and then verified FIFA20.

Run the game and it was running smoothly without any interruption.

Hopefully somebody will be lucky with above steps.

@GameplayerPAD I had problems in both Rivals and FUT Champ... It's frustrating to see useless effort to win just to see the "You've been disconnected" popup just because a good "anti-cheat" software costs more than 0$...
Here there are many people with the same issue (it's the Italian Answer HQ) and the only suggestion untill now is "disable or close any othe applications, even the in-game Origin overlay"...

EA, just contact Easy Anti-Cheat, it's not the best but at least is better then this costless way to not fix the problem...

this is so annoying I have the same issues! what the hell I wasted so many player contracts with loan players, not to mention the games i lost,

It happens 3 games out of 5 for me!

I have the same problem, and ONLY in Weekend League matches, never in Rivals, for example. I tried the windowed borderless mode instead of full screen, and I got the same message.
