Black Friday market crash?
I was wondering if someone more knowledgable than myself could advise me on when the crash is likely to be and how much prices are likely to drop?
I’ve put a ban on myself buying high rated and expensive NIFs due to them losing so many coins.
But I need a defender and I’ve got the coins to buy VVD.
Any ideas when he will be likely to drop and how much to?
I could alternatively do the gomez sbc instead but I think VVD is a better option.

i do suggest you buy and keep playing
anyway you can easily now already have a team with the best NIF players (take off the top meta)
and the next upgrade to them will be only icons and 1m+ players so juat enjoy the best players
i wanted to wait to save coins but at end i decided to buy my team that i am enjoying now

Crash gets earlier and less extreme every year. Tbh though I’m scared about my VVD’s value myself but I’m just trying to stack coins and leave my team as it is.
Value is relative so it’s not the end of the world if your assets lose value as everything else does too.
But how much cheaper can general sbc fodder things get? You can get 89 rated players relatively easily for 22k after pack reward sbc’s and rewards. Surely we will see a rise in these cards over Black Friday or packs will be worthless.

EA definitely need to do something to raise 87 rated, higher cards. There is no incentive to open packs at the moment. Yedder POTM could potentially move them, but not sure what else they can do to raise them going into Black Friday.
Thing i fear is, WBY needs to be relatively affordable to make them go up a lot in value. But EA won’t make such a player cheap.
Although I guess we’ll see them rise a bit regardless.

Just don't buy the players you want until about August and you'll be fine, there'll be a dozen or so 'market crashes' before then, you don't want to be losing any coins!

These promos create crashes prior to Black Friday. As others have stated it gets smaller and smaller every year. The Black Friday crash was a real thing in the past as there were very few promos (totw, tots, TOTY). It was one of the few regular promos EA released, now they pump out new cards and packs regularly. It’s not worth planning for like it was in the past.

If you’re playing the game so little that a crash on one player is a big deal to you, then it doesn’t really matter what you do with your coins. Just enjoy the game.
You can make whatever money you lose on a player back in a week with any combo of SB/DR/WL rewards. If you’re waiting for the best time to buy players, you’ll just be waiting until August.
Just enjoy the game.

You will always lose coins. You can wait for one, two or even three next promos, but cards are gonna be cheaper and cheaper until August

No blue cards are needed for objectives. Like x amount of wins in rivals with x amount of blue cards etc.
