Seandimes 4222 possession - guide (currently under construction)
This guide is being reworked over the coming days. I already included the tactics and instructions, but theres much more to come in the next days and weeks.

Tactics:

Balanced on defense allows us to pressure the opponent, while still maintaining our defensive shape. You can play around with depth and width depening on your team, and the opponent you face. If you have slow defenders, or are having problems defending counters, you can lower the depth by 1-2 bars. Against narrow formations, you can narrow the width a bit.

This is the biggest change I made post patch. Possession in the 4222 actually works very nicely. It gives us a lot of passing options, something that the 4222 usually lacks. You can still counterattack well, although of course not to the level of longball or fast buildup.
6 width is something @Nivaze came up with, and it is very effective, especially when paired with the "possession" custom tactic. The higher width gives our strikers more room to work with, while our wide cams will still play quite narrow thanks to the possession tactic.
6 players in box makes our cdms push further up the pitch, which is all we need to create chances.

Instructions:

In my opinion teams in FIFA play much more fluent if you apply as few player instructions as possible. Often you have the player instructions counteracting what the custom tactic aims to do, and it creates a bit of a mess.

Mandatory instructions:

- Fullbacks stay back/overlap

Optional instructions:

- Stay back on the more defensive cdm: You can add this if you need a bit more cover in midfield

- False 9 on one of the strikers: Add this if you have trouble moving the ball forward/the gap between midfield and attack is too big.

Player selection:

SOON!
