I am facing a similar issue as well. After I save the custom tactics, only the Defence and Offense Style options reset in the Defensive and Ultra Defensive mentalities

Start with a 5atb formation and you can change to 3atb with custom tactics, this way, with the correct lwb and rwb you effectively have a 5atb in defence, this is what I do and I’m a g1/g2 player
