I stopped with fifa points a few years back. It's all about the grind. I find it more fun that way. Altho with such a poor server I have found myself wanting to buy call of duty.

I always skip replays as a rule, however there are times when it is a chance to grab a quick drink or a snack. So doesn’t bother me. Worst case it’s only 10 secs or so
