I think the only thing you can do is just keep playing and hoping it unlocks soon. I never had this problem I guess because I play every year. Have you tried going to the help section link in the pic..

Just had one game, delay was so bad turned it off, not worth playing until they sort this out, if they dont, then that's fifa done for another year.

It doesn't matter who you pack, with button delay as bad as this their stats are irrelevant, they will be slow, sluggish, unable to pass, unable to shoot and behave like a 48 bronze rated player...buy..

Totally agree, it is the worse it has ever been in all the years I've been playing fifa, this has to be sorted, there's only so much people will take before they give up playing and move on.

Happens to me every weekend. The gameplay on sat/sun is awful - rivals should have it's own dedicated servers imo. I go from d6 to d8 and back every single week... It's exhausting.
