As a counter to this, use LT+RT (L2+R2) when you have the ball and keep your back to the defender. Turn them and dribble or pass. Use LB (L1) to send players on runs.

yeah i only found out this WL too. Really helped in avoiding giving away penaltys and had so many times where the referee would give a foul against me where i thought it was just a normal good tackle..
