I've done everything that's available. But for a few weeks I was barely bothering with them. Now I'm 2k short and new tonight was my last hope. It's my fault yes but trust me if I was playing the game..

Start with a 5atb formation and you can change to 3atb with custom tactics, this way, with the correct lwb and rwb you effectively have a 5atb in defence, this is what I do and I’m a g1/g2 player

I would guess they will do another one eventually like the pitch notes from a couple months ago. Also looks like they recently changed matchmaking location from the announcements so should help too.

I did, still the same. And I am having some server errors in transfer market, squad changes etc on console since yesterday as well. Never had these before.
