Brianstorm1990 replied to FIX - Losing connection mid-game on FUT Rivals using Sky Broadband
- Log in to your sky router (usually typing 192.168.0.1 will take you there. Your password is sky and your username is admin, unless you've changed it.)
- Click "Advance" and then "LAN IP Setup"
- Go down to "address reservation" and click add. Select your playstation from the list of attached devices that show up, (This can be found on your playstations "test connection page" as an IP address and a mac address.)
- Click add when complete. Your Sky router will reboot and this can take a while.
- Go to "security" and then "services" as per image 3. Scroll down and click add service.
- Now comes the long part... You have to individually add all the available ports for FIFA and Playstation. This is time consuming so give yourself 10 minutes.
- Give each port a name, like PS4_1, PS4_2 to distinguish them.
- Keep TCP selected, and enter the ports as follows: (Start is on the left, Finish is on the right. If you are opening a single port, the start and finish should say the same number)

44325...44325 - Once all are applied and you can see them all listed on the "services" page, go to "Security" and then "Firewall Rules
- Under "Inbound Services", click "Add"
- I used the IPv4 as I have a Sky Q hub as my router, I have not come across any guide for IPv6 so presumabley all sky routers are IPv4?...
- Click the drop down box named "Services" and select PS4_1 or what ever you called it.
- Select "Allow Always"
- Type the PS4's IP address from earlier into the "Destination IPv4 LAN Address" box.
- Click Apply
- Switch your ps4 off at the mains and unplug. Restart your router once everything is saved. Turn your ps4 back on.
This has for me solved the problem. I have also helped a few others solve their problem with this method also.
PLEASE BE AWARE I am not a technician, and I do not work for Sony, Sky or EA. Port forwarding is complex and should only be done if you are confident. I am not responsible for any effects to your network or internet using this method, I am only passing on a step-by-step process that I completed for my own network set up that worked and allowed me to stay connected in FUT rivals.
I hope this helps at least one person on here!
