An error has occurred online stats reporting failed
I got this game to play pro clubs and this is the 3rd FIFA in a row I've had with this exact same problem. I get zero stat progression after each game and can't get any skill points. Considering this mode is the main reason I play FIFA 20 I'm pretty vexed. Been stuck at 85 rated for ages now, played about 20-30 games with this to see if it was just a visual glitch but my stats have not progressed at all. I'm on PS4. Got no clue how to fix this.

I've tried this and it says that the installed application is the latest version

You may just need to update the game. Highlight the game on the XMB and press the Options button on the controller and then Check for Update. Allow any update to download and install.
Enabling auto-update should prevent similar issues in future:
