button and movement delay
Ok, so there is a number of topics about shocking state of Fifa from responsiveness point of view, into button delay, it is also very heavy movement of players plus also passing and players switching. It is pointless to put it here as moderators just put template respond in terms of fix your connection and follow troubleshooting steps. All of that I did and the last time when I did also UOtrace I had a interesting conversation with my ISP provider.
I do not expect any valid answer from EA any more, but maybe for rest to actually save your time. So what my ISP told me:
- UO trace is not checking of network stability. Most of ISPs have setup their routers to put trace packets on lowest priority, as a protection. It means that results of UO trace does not reflect your connection stability.
- They cannot commnet packet loss and others outsite of their network, typicaly connection to Frankfurt servers they just send packets there and thats it.
- interesting part now - based on their monitoring they told me, that in some times I had very overloaded line from my end which could cause stability issues. Guess what, they gave me exact times when I was playing fifa. So actually fifa just occupied my line by using unexpected number of resources. and when you count to that, you have for example connected mobile phone or TV into local network then based on their opinion I cannot be surprised there is a huge issue. Problem is that they told me they never seen online game to use so much network like in this case. I have 100/100 Mb line, they told me at the peak times, I was using up to 90% of my line by some application.
nice right - and we are those who need to fix that.
